CLUB MUD CERAMICS

Club Mud is a ceramics co-op in Eugene, OR. This is my home-away-from-home and the place where I do my gas firings. A truly fantastic studio space shared by ~32 ceramics artists. This was truly a place for me to grow. The studio is wonderfully equipped with glaze rooms, three electric kilns, two gas kilns and lots of opinions. I learned glazes, firing the gas kiln, wiggling through stacks of ware, cleaning the slip barrel, and getting along with lots of temperamental individuals, etc. ... etc. ... etc. ...

As a group we share in the maintanence and upkeep of the studio and equipment/kilns. We do a few group shows each year, but each member is an individual artist that handles their own shows/sales. We are nonetheless a very committed group of artists that loves the constant banter and interaction of our shared space.
