Removing the bowl ...

Using your wooden knife tool cut a small wedge opening around the bottom of the clay to guide your cut-off wire. Use your sponge to remove any excess water on the bottom and sides.

 

Slow your wheel down to a crawl, run the cut-off wire under the bowl keeping the wire taut so that it does not lift and cut into the clay. Remove the bat and admire your work !
